1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, signing in to, or using the Citron PH-2 Society application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the App. The App is operated by and for the Citron PH-2 Society management.

2. Eligibility & Authorized Users

The App is intended exclusively for individuals with a legitimate connection to Citron PH-2 Society, including:

  • Residents and tenants with an approved unit assignment.
  • Society committee members (Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, etc.).
  • Maintenance staff, security personnel, and facility managers.
  • Administrators and super-administrators assigned by the society.

Access is subject to account approval by society management and may be revoked at any time if your association with the society changes.

3. Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All activities performed through your account.
  • Keeping your profile information accurate and up to date.
  • Notifying the society administration immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You must not share your account with others or allow anyone else to use your credentials.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the App for legitimate society-related activities, including:

  • Viewing announcements, polls, and community updates.
  • Filing complaints, suggestions, and feedback.
  • Booking amenities and facilities.
  • Accessing emergency information and safety protocols.
  • Managing parking, vehicles, pets, and visitor entries.
  • Managing resident and tenant approvals, staff workflows, and administrative functions within your role.
  • Using the AI assistant for society-related queries and drafts.
  • Managing your profile and unit information.
5. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Submit false, misleading, abusive, or defamatory content.
  • Misuse or share other residents' personal information.
  • Attempt to access data or features beyond your assigned role.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's systems, workflows, or other users.
  • Upload malicious files, scripts, or harmful content.
  • Use the App for commercial solicitation or unrelated business purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the App.
  • Misuse the AI assistant to generate harmful, misleading, or abusive content.
  • Misrepresent yourself or your role to other users, residents, or administrators.
6. AI Assistant

The App includes an AI-powered assistant to help answer society-related queries. By using the AI assistant, you acknowledge that:

  • Responses are generated automatically and may be incomplete, outdated, or occasionally inaccurate.
  • AI responses do not constitute official society decisions, legal advice, financial guidance, or medical recommendations.
  • You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated information before acting on it for official or important matters.
  • You must not use the AI assistant to generate abusive, harmful, or illegal content.
  • The society management retains final authority on all official matters regardless of what the AI assistant states.
7. Content You Submit

Any content you submit through the App (complaints, suggestions, photos, documents, announcements, etc.) must be truthful, relevant, and appropriate. By submitting content, you grant the society a non-exclusive right to use that content for the purpose of operating the App and managing society affairs. You must not submit content that:

  • Infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Contains personal information about others without their consent.
8. Notifications & Communications

By using the App, you consent to receive push notifications, in-app alerts, and email communications related to society activities such as announcements, approvals, emergency alerts, and booking confirmations. You may manage notification preferences through your account settings, though critical safety or administrative alerts may still be delivered.

9. Service Availability & Changes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the App. Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes through in-app announcements. Scheduled or emergency maintenance may cause temporary downtime.

Some records created in the application may form part of society operations, audit trails, or compliance history. Deleting or changing certain data may therefore be limited or subject to administrative approval.

10. Suspension & Termination

Access to the App may be suspended or terminated:

  • If you violate these Terms of Service.
  • Upon the end of your authorized association with the society (move-out, resignation, etc.).
  • If your account poses a security, legal, or operational risk.
  • At the discretion of the society administration.

Upon termination, your access will be revoked and relevant data may be retained as required by law or society policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the App, its developers, and the society management are not liable for:

  • Loss of data or service interruptions.
  • Decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
  • Errors or omissions in user-submitted content.

The App is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra.

13. Updates to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notifications. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. You should review these terms periodically.
